Homily from the Fourth Sunday of Easter.
Confidence regardless of the outcome.
When a person has confidence, they are entrusting themselves to another. Christian hope is not centered around an idea; it is focused on a Person. One of the things we know about God is that God is always faithful. One of the ways we grow in heroic confidence is by remaining faithful even if we are not delivered.
