04/26/15 As If: You Had Something to Say

Homily from the Fourth Sunday of Easter.

If you were put on the spot, would you have an answer?

There will be times in our life when we will have to answer some important questions. When that day comes, will you have something to say? Or will you be speechless?

Mass Readings from April 26, 2015:
Acts 4:8-12
1 John 3:1-2
John 10:11-18

04/12/15 As If: You Really Believed

Homily from Divine Mercy Sunday.

What would your life look like if you lived this week as if you had faith?

Our faith is based off of the fact of the Resurrection. Often, we think that “having faith” means “feeling” a certain way. But real Christian faith is based on a fact and lived out in actions. We are called to both profess our faith and to then exercise our faith.

Mass Readings from April 12, 2015:
Acts 4:32-35
1 John 5:1-6
John 20:19-31
